Important Update BETA.0.5 Description

1. Based on a large amount of data from "Chinese Population History. Volume Five. Qing Dynasty" by Cao Shuji and others, combined with extensive calculations and research, the population of China at the start of the game has been completely rebuilt, resulting in a correction of the total population from 364M to 406M at the start of the game. Addressed issues of insufficient population in the eighteen provinces of Han China and excessive population in other regions. Significant corrections were made to areas that significantly deviated from historical facts: Heilongjiang (corrected to the original 5.5%); Jilin (corrected to the original 6.6%); Liaoning (corrected to the original 83.5%); Shandong (corrected to the original 225.7%); Yunnan (corrected to the original 177.9%); Guizhou (corrected to the original 177.1%); Zhejiang (corrected to the original 308.9%), as well as Tibet, Xinjiang, and other regions.
2. Based on the increase in total population, in order to address the issue of unemployed population and self-sufficiency in agriculture, the quantity of cultivated land in the eighteen provinces of Han China (inland provinces) was adjusted by the population increase rate (16.3%), resulting in a revision of the total cultivated land from 8055 to 9368 in the aforementioned areas. Subsequently, the proportion of cultivated land for the entire region was rebuilt and adjusted according to the real situation, resulting in a final number of cultivated land of 9611. The top three provinces with the highest number of newly cultivated land are as follows: 1. Shandong (804 plots); 2. Zhejiang (690 plots); 3. Henan (683 plots).
3. Added two exclusive social technologies for China: (1) County System, effect: increases tax revenue by 20.0%; (2) Six Ministries, effect: increases tax revenue by 25.0%.
4. Modified several descriptions related to Tibet.
5. Revised some proprietary terms.
6. Added a resolution: Reaffirming the "Regulations for the Betterment of Inner Tibet." When this resolution takes effect, the Tibet region will be fully under central control.
7. Based on the "China Historical Atlas. Volume 8. Map of the Qing Dynasty Compiled by Tan Qixiang and Others," revised the boundaries of the Tibet region.
8. Several other corrections.

BETA.0.4 Description

1. Based on the "China Historical Atlas. Volume 8. Map of the Qing Dynasty Compiled by Tan Qixiang and Others," the Xinjiang region was detailed into: Tarim/Dihua/Outer Yili/Yili/Junggar, and the Inner Mongolia region was detailed into: Ejin Horo Banner/Alxa/Desert South/Yikezhao/Xilingol/Zhelimei. This increases playability.
2. Based on 1., reset all boundaries of Outer Mongolia Six Banners, Inner Mongolia Six Banners, Tibet Four Regions, and Xinjiang Five Prefectures, making them appear smoother and more historically accurate.
3. Based on 1., according to the research of Kozo Konuma in "Qing and the Central Asian Steppe: From the World of Nomadic Peoples to the Empire’s Frontier" and various other sources, the northwest border is once again divided: Outer Yili is divided into three national occupation zones: Russia, Qing Dynasty, and Haohan, and Qing Dynasty claims are added to the respective zones; Yili and Kobdo are divided into two national occupation zones: Russia, Qing Dynasty, with Qing claims added to the respective zones. The Qing border is determined based on the regular patrol line extending beyond the Karen Line (roughly equivalent to the current border). The position is approximately halfway between the Qing-claimed border and the Karen Line, simulating the situation in 1836 when the Qing claimed occupation of the northwest but was actually contested by various powers such as Russia and Haohan.
4. Based on 1., modified the borders: Bapa area; the border between Tibetan areas and Sikkim; the border between Tushetu Khan and Irkutsk.
5. Modified the introduction of the Qing Dynasty.
6. Updated a batch of province names.
