Spellblade [0.10.5]
Lots of fixes, balance updates and some new specials are here! One for each element, but are subject to change! I can confirm the next major patch will be 1.0.0, which’ll have the hero skin!!!!
Spellblade is a versatile stance character that can activate different runes to change their game-plan on the fly. Pressure opponents or they’ll suffer high damage from mistakes with Fire. Keep enemies on their toes through traps and keep-away tactics with Ice. Rush down your foe and don’t give them any breathing room with Shock. Control and adapt to the situation on the fly with each of these Runes that can be used at any time!

Spellblade is now at the point where I want to get as much feedback and testing as possible! He’s targeting vanilla character balance, and any and all feedback is appreciated!
Spellblade also has Codex support! Use this to read up on individual moves and for an overall guide on the character.
Check the thread below for information on the Hero skin!
Spellblade has access to three special move runes. Using a rune fills up the charge bar with the respective element. While Spellblade has any element charge, they gain access to the respective element specials and a unique passive effect for each element:
Fire Passive: Dealing damage with sword attacks applies a small stacking burn over time.
Ice Passive: Dealing damage with sword attacks builds up a freezing effect on the opponent.
Shock Passive: Grants access to a short 5f dash that keeps momentum after.
While using an element, Spellblade also has access to the following:
Ruin: A UI toggle that causes automatic follow-ups on the selected move.
Boost: A slightly delayed aerial dash that goes towards the opponent, costing charge.
Cycle: An extra UI based move that can switch to another element at the cost of 100 charge.
Dispel: An extra UI based move that dispels the current element, removing all charge.
Spellblade is at his best when in an element, especially the element best suited to the current situation! However, Spellblade does have some tools outside of an element, such as Blink Dart, a dagger that sticks to whatever it hits and allows them to teleport to it when in range!
Surge: Fire, Ice and Shock (Level 1): Three different attacks, one for each element, that cycles to the next one whenever used.
Memoria (Level 1): A unique super that stores the last used "Spell" to be used in conjunction with another move in the future.
Omnislash (Level 3): A command grab finisher that has high minimum damage and multiple hits.
Surge: Rune (Level 4): Enables all three runes at the same time, granting access to all specials and passive effects. The charge bar will drain over time.
Thank you to everyone who’s supported me throughout the development of Spellblade that helped me get to this point! Every idea, bit of feedback, or just general conversation has motivated me to continue working on him. Thank you, truly!
