Built by Siemens Mobility partially in Vienna, Austria and Goole (UK) is expected to go into service in 2025. TfL ordered 94 trains that will be used on the picadilly line. The contract has an option to order a total of 250 trains from Siemens. These new trains will run in manual mode until works on the Picadilly line are finished enabling the carriages to run fully automatic on the line without a driver. These trains will probably run on the other deep level tubes like Central, Waterloo & City and Bakerloo lines replacing the 1973 stock cars. The DTUP (Deep Tube Upgrade Program) is built on the Siemens Inspiro platform. Remarkable about this train is that altough it consists of 9 cars, it only has 10 bogies. This works by keeping the IM-car up in the air and placing bogies on the DM and KM-cars. Also, this is the fist deep level tube fitted with air conditioning throughout the whole train. Testing is currently under way in Wildenrath on the Siemens test track and is expected to reach the UK in late 2024 for more testing and integration.
