Brothers Divided
This mod provides an interpretation of a three way civil war in Livonia during the later stages of the Second World War.

Livonian Home Army [INDFOR]
– Remnants of the pre-Soviet occupation Livonian army, halfheartedly backed by the western allies, the home army utilises both pre-war and captured german equipment in its mission to liberate Livonia from both the Soviets and the Axis. At the conclusion of the war, the force would make a last stand against the Soviets, with the survivors managing to flee to the other baltic countries to join local resistance movements there, never returning to their homeland.
Livonian Resistance [INDFOR]
– Loose cells of civilians and insurgents aligned with the home army or acting independently with similar goals.
Hilfspolizei Livonia [BLUFOR]
– Pro-German Collaborationist faction of Livonians who assist with policing and counter-insurgency within occupied Livonia. While the history books of the 21st century will discover nuance to the goals of some individual collaborators, with a quarter being agents for the Home Army, as a whole the force is tarnished by its eager participation in the Wehrmacht and SS’s worst atrocities in the region.
Livonian People’s Army [OPFOR] REQUIRES THE NORTHERN FRONTS MOD
– Formed with the support of the Soviet NKVD, with its leadership staffed by Communist Livonians who went into exile in the USSR after purges in the 1920’s, the People’s Army became active in the later stages of the war once the Soviets judged the Home Army and Germans to be sufficiently weak enough to allocate sections of the front to this new revolutionary force. Conscripting soldiers where they can find them, the LPA would become the basis for the post-war Livonian Army.
