Description:

Asymetrical warfare mod based on the Syrian and Iraqi civil wars, multiplayer compatible (with a Free for all mod).

Featuring 4 factions :

– Loyalists : Saraqestan Armed Forces (Syrian Arab Army ; SAA inspired)
Loyalist faction, has all the fire power available, including airstrikes and helicopters, heavy tanks, artillery, foreign support (Russian mercenaries from Wagner Group and Kadyrovites), but mediocre infantry as a whole.

– Rebels : Islamic Salvation Legion (Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham ; HTS inspired)
Good infantry, some armored vehicles, armed UAV (drones) and suicide vehicle, ATGMs, but a costly faction.

-Jihadist rebels : Al-Kilafah al-Islamiyah (Islamic State ; ISIS inspired)
Mediocre but very cheap infantry, access to a large range of vehicle, including tanks, armed UAV (drones) and suicide vehicle

-Western Coalition backed autonomist minorities : Revolutionnary Popular Front (Syrian Democratic Forces ; SDF inspired)
Good infantry, a few Western APCs, and Coalitition Specops and aistrikes. No heavy vehicles.

The mod also features a "Civil War" multiplayer mod, allowing you a Free-for-all experience where every faction fight for itself, forcing you to be even more ruthless, or more prone to a temporary cooperation with you opponents.

– New asymetrical maps for guerilla warfare
– New vehicles (drones, suicide vehicles, airstrikes)
– New skins (including random generated for a more diverse and realistic rebel army and burned textures)
– New sounds (including the voices the developpers never cared to implement)

The new maps are designed to handicap the first team, with a distant spawn and some obstacles. It is recommended to play the Saraqestan Armed Forces or any regular force if you choose the first team.

This mod, of course, is not intended to glorify any real life political, ethnical or religious organizations nor any resort to violence.

New Update :

NEW VEHICLES :

– T-54, with a flag for the Caliphate (avalaible for all factions)
– Hell cannon, a new rebel artillery, very deadly but extremely inaccurate and slow to reload, so very vulnerable to counter-battery
– Another vicious weapon for the insurgents factions : the RCIED, a remotely detonated explosive that can be carried by humans and vehicles alike (can be detonated manually via direct control, or by having it fire at a designated target).
It cannot be detected by the enemy but isn’t masked. Spoiler : it looks like a rock. For now, carried by the AT miners.

Also :

-A new proper model for the Qassam launcher
-A more coherent and specialized doctrine for each faction with easier access to armor for the SAF
-No more ammo on flag points for the custom map
– Drones can now be detected by the enemy, they will be targeted by Hmgun light vehicles exclusively. If you want to protect your artillery from it, get a ZPU car or truck.

WHAT’S COMING :

Some new insurgent models, bikes, and if I can clear enough time, some homemade tanks and a functionnal bulldozer

Rebel factions can now spawn small personnal hideouts, perfect to set ambushes if you know your position will be overrun;
-T-54 added
– Each faction is now more specialized : fire power army for the SAF, swarm type army for the IS, anti-armor type RPF and all-round for the ISL.

I expect to publish a small uptade for next month featuring :
– A new armored vehicle for insurgents factions : the BTR-D
– A much more efficient Javelin with a top attack flight, allowing you to strike vehicles with extreme precision from cover.
– A new feature for the insurgents factions : the tunnel. It allows specific units to dig a small personnal hideout. Once inside, you cannot be spotted, but cannot interact with the world either. Perfect to setup ambush. (It currently replaces the barbwire)
– The possibility to detonate RPG heads with either bullets or small explosions, allowing you to turn any RPG head into a potential much more efficient IED.
