Birget’s Female Body Model and Skin
Hi. This is my first ever body model and skin texture so please be respectfull and kind.
Reason of this mod creation: I do not like existing versions of body models because I might have a specific taste in female beauty and face proportions. Also I need 2K textures to make better previews for streams. I thought I may try to do smth that will suit my taste.
Mod consists of 3 modules: body model, skin texture and "clothing correction". The last one is needed to make some items look properly. Use them all together, other skintones will look bad with my model.
There are also 2 mods with [OLD] in their name. This a previous version of body and skin, I do not recomment using them.
Main features:
- More polygons all over the body.
- More details and volume on face, breast, butt, hands and feet.
- Plain skintone in minimatistic style to keep visual style of the game as I see it.
- Made changes to look some clothes not so deformed on shoulders.
- Works fine with existing hair mods, as I kept key edges at the same places as original model.
You need to know:
- Same model for players and zombies, so not recommended to be used on weak PC if you play with a lot of zombies.
- Fingers mesh is based on Akyet’s mod .
- Skin texture is 2048х2048. ONLY FOR PLAYER MODEL
- Skin is meant to be used with this current body model as I made some changes in UV mapping.
- Mini-skirt looks bad in dinamic situations. Maybe with smth else too. I appreciate report about it in "Bugs" section.
- Eyes are taken from basic Sims4 game.
- I’m new to drawing, so toe nails look like an absolute mess.
How to install:
1. Enable 3 mods "Birget’s female body", "Birget’s female skin" and "Clothes corrected for Birget Body Models" in the "mods" section of the main menu
2. Reload the game.
3. If youre not creating new game enable the mod in savefile mods too.
4. Enjoy new body
Alternatively you can replace body skin and model in game files /media/models_x/skinned and media/textures/Body. With this way my model will be used even if you do not enable it in game or on server. I do not recommend this method.
Note that you need to enable 2048×2048 texture for objects in game settings. If not, the texture will look less detailed.
Check this mod to add the ability to choose eyecolor of your character and other stuff like scars and wrinkles.
