Federal and Reformist Austria-Hungary
The following changes are made to facilitate the new Journal Entries, Succeeding the Matter of Hungary (Accepting Hungarians) now gives 30% radicals in South Germans, Accepting the Compromise no longer removes Austrian Hegemonists from Landowners, making the further reforms harder, and the new Hungarian Aristocracy supports their elevated position.
Adds a new reformist approach to the social unrest Austria-Hungary would face in this time period, adding Croatia the Dual Monarchy, which can be taken before the final reform into a federal state, or seen as the last necessary reform to maintain the Austro-Hungarian-Croatian Oligarchy, under the following conditions;
– Own Croatia, Slavonia, Slovenia, Dalmatia
– Own Istria or Bosnia
– Added Hungarian as a Primary Culture
– Is not a unification candidate for Germany (Lose the brothers war, or at least give up German Leadership)
– Have not unified the South German Confederation
– Have researched Pan-Nationalism
– Have researched Human Rights
– Is not an Oligarchy or Autocracy
– Is either on Total Separation or State Atheism (Muslim populations are a major part of the new Croatia)
The new Monarchy will be called ‘Austria-Hungary-Croatia’ if Monarchy or ‘United Republics’ if a Republic, and will have a new flag including the Slav Blue alongside the Hungarian Green
Additionally adds a new Journal Entry to federalise the Austro-Hungarian state, Which can be completed after the matter of Hungary and Triple Monarchy reforms have been completed under the following conditions;
– Own all of starting Austria Hungary minus Lombardy and Venetia
– Is not a unification candidate for Germany (Lose the brothers war, or at least give up German Leadership)
– Have not unified the South German Confederation
– Have researched Pan-Nationalism
– Have researched Human Rights
– Have Multiculturalism law
– Is not an Oligarchy or Autocracy
– Is either on Total Separation or State Atheism
– Does not have Hereditary Bureaucrats
Upon completion of the Journal Entry, you can either form the United States of Greater Austria/Danubian Federation and incur a large amount of Hungarian Radicals or accept the status-quo.
In addition the Danubian State will be called the ‘United States of Greater Austria’ if a Monarchy, or the ‘Danubian Federation’ if a Republic, and has new flags for both cases
