Mii Gunner
It’s time to gun down your enemies with the final mii of the Smash Ultimate trio, Mii Gunner! Featuring all 12 special moves, Mii Gunner utilizes an arsenal of projectiles, unique attacks, and popular special moves such as Echo Reflector, Gunner Missile, and Arm Rocket.
Mii Gunner is a long-ranged zoner who works the best at a distance and struggles in a close-ranged environment. Powerful projectiles such as your forward air, Flame Pillar, Stealth Burst, and powerful kill moves like Forward Smash and Charge Shot, help Mii Gunner keep the opponent at bay.
Like Mii Brawler, Mii Gunner has Smash-style B-reversing for a couple special moves. By pressing the opposite direction after the attack starts, moves like Grenade Launch and Bomb Drop will have their horizontal momentum reversed, allowing for unique movement options.

In the Character Select Screen (CSS), Mii Gunner’s special selection menu is accessible via a button on the bottom right of the screen. The player can select any combination of four moves by pressing up, right, or down, which will select your Nspecial, Fspecial, Uspecial, and Dspecial in that order. In Practice Mode, the menu is accessible by pressing taunt, allowing you to switch your specials mid training and easily experiment to your heart’s content.

This is a little bit of information on all 12 specials. Most of the specials act the exact same way as their SSBU counterpart, but others were changed for the sake of balance.
1. Charge Shot – A projectile that gets stronger the longer you charge it. At full power, the blast can kill and is a strong combo finishing tool. Be careful with the charge, though, as you’ll lose it upon getting parried or when you lose a stock.
2. Laser Blaze – A constant spray of projectiles that can deal a significant amount of damage if the opponent doesn’t play their cards right. Holding down the special button will allow you to keep shooting over and over, or by periodically pressing the button if you’re insane. After three projectiles are shot, however, the rest will be polite, meaning they will not deal knockback.
3. Grenade Launch – Mii Gunner shoots an arcing grenade that attacks in a flurry of explosions after some time. It starts slow, but can lead into a combo and is a pretty strong attack itself. It works well as an edge guarding tool, allowing you to knock your opponents back off the stage without having to chase them down.
1. Flame Pillar – Mii Gunner’s version of "I don’t care how big the room is, I cast fireball." If the projectile lands on the ground, it will burst into a wall of fire that can lead into strong finishers. If this move is done in the air, the projectile will be angled a lot lower.
2. Stealth Burst – A near invisible projectile that explodes when you let go of the special button. The longer you hold it, the farther and stronger it gets. At maximum distance, it could kill at super low percents. This move is best utilized when the opponent is on the opposite side of the stage, allowing you to surprise them when they least expect it.
3. Gunner Missile – Loads up and shoots a missile towards the opponent. Two variations can spawn depending on how you pressed the special button. If you hold the special button, a small missile will spawn that will home in on the opponent when it gets close. If you tap the special button, a large missile will spawn that speeds up quickly to close the distance with the opponent.
1. Lunar Launch – Shoot a projectile downwards that’s strong enough to send you flying upwards. If the opponent is hit, they’ll get sent the opposite direction you are facing, which makes it a good tool for guarding the wall and reversing an edge guard if you’re trying to recover.
2. Cannon Jump Kick – While it doesn’t reach as high as the other two, this move packs a powerful punch. By trading movement for strength, Mii Gunner can spike opponents with the bottom part of the move and kill off the top with the vertical movement.
3. Arm Rocket – Aim downwards and boost yourself in any direction you please. Yes, we meant ANY DIRECTION. This move, while having no hitboxes, boasts incredible movement and can be edge-cancelled. This attack is very useful at dodging characters with strong edge guarding capabilities.
1. Echo Reflector – Mii Gunner crouches down and sets up hexagonal shields to protect her from projectiles. If a projectile comes in contact with the shields, it will be parried and sent back. This move also works like a shine, and can be jump-cancelled if you hit the opponent.
2. Bomb Drop – Drop a bomb that takes a couple seconds to explode. This attack can work as stage control, limiting your opponents options on closing in against you. Paired with other projectile specials, this move can be extremely difficult to bypass.
3. Absorbing Vortex – Prepare a vortex that absorbs any projectile coming your way. If the projectile is destroyed, Mii Gunner will heal 1/3rd of the damage that would’ve been dealt. Like Echo Reflector, it has a startup hitbox that can be jump-cancelled on hit.
