"Legacy of Knowledge" is an innovative mod for Crusader Kings 3 that allows players to create a lasting legacy of knowledge for their successors. As a ruler, you accumulate vast wisdom and experience throughout your reign. This mod offers a way to ensure that this valuable information is not lost with your death, compiling everything into a comprehensive journal that can be passed on to your heir.

• Decision to Create a Legacy of Knowledge: Compile your experiences and insights into a comprehensive journal that will serve as a guide for your successor.
• Transfer of Perk Points: Store 1/3 of your available perk points and transfer them to your heir after your death.
• Lore Friendly: The mod is designed to seamlessly integrate with the game’s existing lore and mechanics.
• Balanced: Carefully balanced to ensure it enhances gameplay without feeling like a cheat code.
• Compatible with Achievements and Ironman: Fully compatible with achievement and Ironman mode, allowing you to continue earning achievements while using this mod.
• Saved game compatilble: No need to start new game to use this mod.

• Create the Legacy: During your reign, make the decision to create a legacy of knowledge by writing your experiences and lessons learned. This decision costs 2000 prestige and 1000 gold and can only be made once per character in each lifetime, so choose wisely when to make it.
• The decision will only appear if:
  
  • The character is 50 years or older.
  • The primary title is at least King tier (tier 4).
  • The character has at least 5 perk points in any of the following lifestyles:
    
    • Diplomacy
    • Martial
    • Stewardship
    • Intrigue
    • Learning
• Store Perk Points: In the initial event, store 1/3 of all your perk points.
• Post-Mortem Transfer: Between 15 to 90 days after the character’s death, a messenger will deliver a gift containing the journal and notes to the successor, allowing them to receive the stored perk points and strengthen their governance.
