Wallpaper Engine retrieves song data from the Windows Media Overlay. If your streaming software doesn’t support this feature, you won’t be able to see the song information, including the cover. Additionally, make sure you have enabled the "Media Integration Support" setting in the "General > Windows" section.
Unfortunately, this is a limitation of Wallpaper Engine itself. However, if you pause your song, you’ll notice that the play/pause button will change according to the playback status.
