Description:

This is an optimization mod that reduces the burden on your CPU, which requires more calculations as the game progresses.


Features

This mod increases the Skill XP Decay calculation cycle by 50x.

– XP Decay Cycle (In-game Time):
every (4.8 minutes -> 4 hours)

– XP Decay Scale
Great Memory: x0.5 -> x25
not Great Memory: x1 -> x50

In other words, XP decay was calculated every 4.8 minutes of in-game time, but now calculated all at once every 4 hours of in-game time.


Example:

(Based on 1x speed)

In Rimworld, Skill level 18 loses 6 XP every 3 seconds.
This mod causes level 18 to drop 300 XP every 150 seconds.

In the end, the total is the same, but the point of this mode is that the number of unnecessary calculations is reduced.

Q: Can I add it to an ongoing save? / Can I remove it?
A: Yes / Yes

Q: Are there any incompatible mods?
A: Yes, but it has been patched so that there is no disruption to the game. Check the log.

Q: Will this really improve performance (TPS)?
A: Yes. In an environment where only XP reduction is calculated, I have confirmed that performance improves to some extent. It has improved by about 5~10% 4%. The older save games that require a lot of computation, the bigger the effect you can expect.
