Description:

This mod adds a form trait that converts your race into nymphlike individuals. This follows more of the lines of prior versions of nymphs than the ‘plantlike’ version in AoE4, where Nymphs were all beautiful women (similar to Rime’s Beautiful Nymphs mod). I highly recommend Age of Wonderful Forms by Perfect Thomas, as it works well with that thematic.

I do change the default Nymph appearance as well, so if you use Rime’s mod and prefer that mod’s version, load it after mine.

The transformation spell is currently optional. Everything (mechanically and visually) is done as soon as your map loads. However, if you want your hero to have the transform recorded during ascension you will need to cast the spell on him/her before you do so!

-Primary Nymph Descendant Traits (OP version in parenthesis):
–Trait Cost: 5 (10 for OP version)
–Fertility: Food cost to increase population is decreased by 30% (50% for OP version)
–Charming: Increase Allegiance Gain with Free Cities by +3 (+100% in OP version)
–Delicate Beauty: Has a 50% to Distract units adjacent to her. Also reduces Health by 10 to balance. (same in OP)

Appearance Only (1 pt trait)
Per request, I have added a 1 pt trait that gives only the appearance to your units. I tried making it a 0 pt trait but that led to serious errors when the free cities had a chance to pick it. So I made it one point and added the Delicate Beauty trait to your units as well.

-Realm Trait:
–Nymph Rebels:
Replaces most spawning mobs with Nymph Descendants so you have a chance to add them to spawn list. They are VERY high on the spawn list with this trait though.

–Nymph Houses:
–Starts all Free Cities with Human or Elf skins and the Nymph Descendant Transformation and the Delicate Beauty trait.

-Presence Trait
–The presence trait should be fully functional now. There are a couple of things that don’t work quite how I wanted them to but they do work. All it does right now is add each of the Nymph Descendant leaders and creates a conflict between them. Your mission is to defeat the stronger of the two while protecting the weaker. With many players, this may be a trivial task, but she is equipped to be a more than a match for an unmodded one on one. Yes, the Heritage Tree is supposed to be that strong. The Side Quest mitigates this. While it can be beaten without completing the side quest chain, the strength of the Heritage Tree is intended to encourage you to do it. And don’t worry, the side quest isn’t terribly difficult.

–Side Quests: There is now a chain of Side Quests that you can do for Eleria. You get some free heroes as part of it and a fair amount if Imperium. Also, and perhaps most importantly, at the end of it, Whitewood’s Heritage Tree is destroyed for you, allowing the city to be captured much more easily. Also, there is a LOT of dialogue, but it is mostly just for flavor so you can just click through it if you don’t like that kind of thing. There are only a couple of times you actually have to make choices based on it.
—Note: I couldn’t got Rose’s Ambush to work quite how I wanted it to. She appears correctly (near your city) but does not attack immediately. This allows you to actually choose who goes into the battle instead of her ambushing the twins like she really would have. Just be aware that there is no quest marker for her because of the ‘ambush’ nature of her attack.
—If playing with "Teams" turned on, make sure you start on Cassim’s Team or completion will be… difficult.

-Custom Lords
–Cassim Leofaelor: Uses the regular version of the trait and is balanced for a typical unnmodded game. He will never appear at random under an AI, but he exists so you can have someone prebuilt with the trait in your game.
–Sigred Arael: Uses the OP version of the trait as well as other traits. She is quite powerful, even if she is not optimized well. As with Ansalme, she will not appear as a randomly selected ruler, you will have to pick her to be in your campaign if you want her there.
–These were created as assets for the Presence trait, but I decided to leave them in case someone wanted some defaults with the Form Trait.

(Should not work with the Architect Culture… have not tested with newest set of Tomes yet. The Paladin and Angel units… I may leave as is because I kind of like them that way.)
