Shadowverse Mod
This mod supports both Chinese and English. The English translation was done by ChatGPT, and I only performed the most basic proofreading, so the quality of the translation is not guaranteed. All trinkets, monsters, and mission mechanics in the mod aim to faithfully recreate the original cards or storyline designs, though some monster and trinket mechanics have been innovatively modified based on the original work. As a result, some mechanics may be relatively complex. Previews of certain trinket abilities can be seen in the mod’s preview images, so you can check if the complexity of these mechanics is acceptable to you.
This mod introduces 42 new trinkets, most of which can be obtained by defeating 【Mechanical】 enemies that spawn in the 【Ruins】 and 【Warrens】 or 【Shadow】 enemies that spawn in the 【Cove】 and 【Weald】. Some trinkets can only be acquired by defeating specific mini-bosses. You can check the images below to confirm the acquisition methods for each trinket and the corresponding monster traits. If the text appears too small to read, you can copy the URL of this page and open it in a browser. Then, right-click the image and select "Open image in a new tab" (the wording may vary slightly depending on your browser) to view a larger version.

This mod also introduces 5 one-time story quests, 1 permanent quest, and 3 new buildings. The tokens needed to construct these buildings can be obtained through these quests.
Non-mainline quests will have a high probability of spawning on the Farmstead map after adding this mod to your save. The main story content will unlock on the [Weald] map once you have four Level 5 heroes. (If there is already a Boss kill quest on the current map, the new quest will appear after completing that one.)
Here is my subjective ranking of the difficulty of the quests in this mod:
Darkest Dungeon DD1 ≈ Main Quest 1 "This is Rivayle" ≤ Main Quest 2 "Entropy’s Abyss" < Crimson Court CC4 ≤ Non-main Quest "Renascent Chronicles:Belphomet, Ultimate Creator" ≈ Main Quest 3 "The Final Loop"
You can refer to the above difficulty ranking to decide when to enter the dungeons to acquire the trinkets.
Most mechanics can be explained in detail by checking the in-game 【Glossary】 interface. To avoid ambiguity, some simple concepts may be described in a more complex manner within the glossary.
In the directory, you will find an executable file named "Shadowverse’s Magic Mickey Mouse Gadget".

Due to the lack of art resources, most monsters in this mod use models from the original game, with a few adapted from assets extracted from the game Shadowverse.
This tool allows you to adjust the spawn rates of monsters from this mod and apply custom monster models by replacing the original ones used by the Shadowverse monsters.
Since all monster spawn rates in Darkest Dungeon are generally equal, adding a new roaming monster mod will lower the spawn rates of other monsters. You can use this tool to adjust the spawn rates according to the number of mods you have enabled.
Before replacing models, place the mod that alters the original monster models into the "Model Replacement" folder located in the root directory of this mod. Then, click the replace button in the executable. The tool will automatically detect the models and replace the Shadowverse monsters that use the corresponding original monster models.
Please note that some mods that alter monster models might also change their action effect configuration files (.art files), making them incompatible with this tool. However, there’s no need to worry—the tool automatically backs up the original files during the replacement process. You can undo your changes at any time by clicking the restore backup button.
- The following is a list of monsters using original models that can be replaced in one click (including their variants):
- Enforcer (Scarecrow), Mega Enforcer (Farmhand), Assault Tentacle (Sleeper’s Herald), Armored Tentacle (Frozen Farmhand),
- Tisiphone, Malignance Lives (Collected Highwayman), Alecto, Dissonance Lives (Collected Vestal), Megaera, Indignance Lives (Collected Man-at-Arms),
- Belphomet, Lord of Aiolon (Miller), Belphomet, Worldreaver (The Collector), Belphomet, Ultimate Creator (Foreman),
- Zecilwenshe (Madman), Wretch (Shambler Spur), Magitrain (Defensive Growth),
- Kagemitsu, Matchless Blade (Brigand Raider), Rulenye, Omen of Silence (Bone Bearer), Miyako, Pudding Poltergeist (Ectoplasm).
If you’re concerned that Steam’s automatic updates may override your changes, move the mod folder [3307446354] to:
Note that moving the mod may prevent some errors from being fixed automatically with updates, so you may need to manually update the files.

1.Using True Damage or DoT (Damage over Time) to kill [Sickly Economic King Iceschillendrig] [Assembly Droid: Research] in phase two may cause the game to crash. The more mods you have installed, the higher the crash probability. This issue is caused by a fundamental problem in Red Hook’s capture code and cannot be fixed. It is recommended to use direct skills to defeat this boss. Additionally, simply reducing the boss’s health using True Damage or DoT without killing it will not cause a crash.
“True Damage” refers to fixed-value damage described as “deals X additional damage” in various mods. Regardless of how mod authors describe it, the code mechanism is essentially the same as the "true damage" from the Countess boss’s eggs.
“DoT” refers to the two delayed damage types in the base game: “Bleeding” and “Blight.”
2.Special effects/models may display as white blocks. This is likely due to excessive or oversized game resources, leading to incomplete data loading. Solution: Use the
command and the 4GB patch (you can apply the patch after encountering white blocks; note that the command might cause a crash during the Cove Crew Boss fight).
