PRIME TWEAK PACK

This mod is an all-in-one improvement collection, fixes some known issues and introduces some new features.

Smuggler’s Cove is a new and totally optional building that players MAY use for some initial non game-breaking (but surely impacting) bonuses in every coastal town. It also provides 3 upgrades which unlock specific goods that are requested for upgrading tier 1/2/3 buildings respectevely. These bonuses aren’t allowed to the AI.

Other main features:

  1. All military units that are historically compatible with a given culture are now available in every province of that kingdom with no "holes" in the map. Some super special soldiers like Highlanders, Teutonic Knights and Templars are still bound to specific areas so if you want them you’ll have to fight your way to those lands.
  2. Papal State is now playable. All tooltips and action messages have been rewritten so that the Pope himself needs his Council’s formal approval when it comes down to excommunications, absolutions, crusades and peace arrangements.
  3. "this Knight", "in Province" and "in Kingdom" tags added for every possible bonus in knights’ tooltips
  4. Significantly smaller costs for expanding town slots (the first 6 slots are now already unlocked)
  5. The age speed for the "Slow Aging" option is now 100% slower than vanilla. The Normal and Fast options haven’t been changed.
  6. "Improve Relations" cost has been reduced to 25% so the action may be more extensively used in the early game stages.
  7. Updated capacity for piety (1000), levy (5000), books (3000) and Prestige (2000). The game still retains ways to go much higher than that anyway (ie. Theology skill for each knight, Cavalry for Marshals, Laws for governing Diplomats etc..)
  8. 20 additional knight slots which are now made available to the AI as well
  9. 10 skill slots for knights with skills up to rank 5 and rebalanced effects.
  10. 8 military units available to Merchants, Diplomats, Spies and Clerics with the Call to Arms marshal skill.
  11. Redefined food wagon costs for being able to play more effortful campaigns and sieges from the beginning
  12. Royal Family changes:
    • Bigger families: 8 children max / 12 relatives max
    • Birth chance 24% (up from 12%)
    • Chance to die cause of age 2% (down from 5%)
    • As other modders did, I changed the marriage array so that there’s now a significantly higher chance (up to 50%) to get married when young or adult.
    • Fixed the marriage_check_interval inconstistencies in RoyalFamily.def
  13. Reduced cost of siege weapons to make them more viable in the early wars and fixed the food cost anomaly for the "additional troops" unit.

Use this mod on fresh games.

Prime Tweak Pack has been structured so that it presents as few overlaps as possible but it will conflict 100% with any other mods redefining skills (and of course with any other mods doing similar things).
