Description:

Volcanoes are among the most powerful forces of nature, shaping landscapes and ecosystems over millennia. They create fertile lands, fuel cultural myths, and influence civilizations throughout history. Now, they add a new layer of realism and strategy to your game.

Terrain Feature: Volcanoes

– Can be worked by the City, yielding +2 Science and +2 Food.
– Functions as a Mountain, allowing the construction of Observatories.
– Any Building, Tech, Policy, or Belief that boosts Mountain yields also applies to Volcanoes.
– Even the Incas cannot settle Cities on a Plot with a Volcano.

Building: Obsidian Furnace

– Grants 1 Obsidian Luxury Resource. Unlocks with Mining.
– Yields: +1 Science and +1 Production. Requires a Volcano nearby.

Pantheon Belief: Tutu Pele, Goddess of Volcanoes

– Provides +3 Faith, +2 Culture, and +1 Food, Production, and Gold from Volcanoes.

Fully Customizable

Sparsity and minimum distance between Volcanoes can be adjusted in the USER_SETTINGS.sql.

Fully localized in: English, French, German, Spanish, Korean, and Russian.
