Description:

Volcanoes are among the most powerful forces of nature, shaping landscapes and ecosystems over millennia. They create fertile lands, fuel cultural myths, and add a new layer of realism and strategy to your game.

Terrain Feature: Volcano

– Yields +2 Science when worked, and adds +1 Food to every adjacent land tile.
– Impassable, and cannot be settled or improved — not even the Inca can found a city on a Volcano.
– Any Building, Tech, Policy, or Belief that boosts nearby yields benefits from Volcanoes too.

Building: Knapping Workshop

– Requires an adjacent Volcano. Unlocks with Mining.
– Grants 1 Obsidian luxury and +1 Production.

Luxury Resource: Obsidian

– Provides +4 Happiness and yields +1 Gold and +1 Production.
– Available only by building a Knapping Workshop beside a Volcano.

Pantheon Belief: Tutu Pele, Goddess of Volcanoes

– Grants +2 Faith, +2 Culture, and +1 Food, Production, and Gold from Volcanoes.

Configurable

Volcano density and minimum spacing can be tuned in the mod’s SQL.

LANGUAGE SUPPORT

Fully localized in: English, French, German, Spanish, Korean, and Russian.
