AAEnglishman and Mall’s Event Pack – REDUX
Mid-Challenge event pack from AAEnglishman and Mall, expanded and fixed all around. Designed to offer a bit more narrative flavour to the standard Shadows of Forbidden Gods game whilst hopefully retaining the feel and challenge of the base game, this mod is intended to replace the original since my co-author has been busy with life.
Some of the changes include:
- Void Wyrms are now an opt-in for a prize sort of deal.
- More unique midchallenge events for non-intrigue challenges.
- More P2P events, couple of them chains.
- Midchallenge Events now have a cooldown to stop players from getting same ones multiple times in a row.
- Standardized (most of) the option explanations and terms to match the in-game ones.
- New art, some of it old, some AI generated images because I’ve scrolled enough 1800’s art to last a lifetime looking for fittingly sinister/scene appropriate paintings.
- Added more [Requires: ] options to events, giving players more chances to benefit from events under right conditions.
Might still update this with more stuff, maybe. No promises.
