MUST READ:
AI buff will not apply if you use any quick start options for the game. You must select the start game option on the right and manually select a country, make sure to select your desired difficulty in the game rules before starting.
There are 9 types of buffs, each with 3 different tiers: low, medium and high. The buff types along with their recommended tiers are as follows:
– Military Off
– Baby Boom Low
– Politics Low
– Science Medium
– Migration Off.
– Administration Medium
– Diplomacy Medium
– Lifespan Low
– Economy Low

Minimal difficulty impact buff types: diplomacy, politics and administration. Feel free to turn these up based on your preferences.
Turning up any of the other buff types to high can be a serious challenge. I recommend only having one of these on high at once. For example, if you want a science challenge game put science on high. Same for economy etc.
Doing all buffs on high for all simultaneously is great for people who love competition and those looking to create enticing YouTube or Streaming content.
