The F-100D Super Sabre played a crucial role in the early years of the Vietnam War as one of the primary ground-attack aircraft used by the U.S. Air Force. Initially designed as a supersonic fighter, it was adapted for close air support, interdiction, and strike missions in Vietnam. The F-100D flew extensive sorties targeting enemy supply lines, fortifications, and troops, particularly along the Ho Chi Minh Trail. It was the first jet to engage in sustained combat operations in the war and carried a wide array of bombs, rockets, and napalm. Though later overshadowed by newer aircraft like the F-4 Phantom II, the F-100D remained a workhorse for close air support throughout the conflict.

– use left/right arrow keys to cycle down/up skins. Alternatively, when landing gear is down, holding yaw left + throttle down/yaw right + throttle up will cycle down/up skins. This causes AI to sometimes change skins on takeoff, and is a gameplay feature.
– press H to toggle third person heads-up display (TP-HUD)
