Welcome to the King of the Hill (KOTH) mod for DayZ! This mod brings intense, competitive gameplay to your DayZ server, challenging players to capture and hold strategic locations on the map. With a wide range of customizable settings, you can tailor the KOTH experience to fit your server’s needs. Dive into the chaos, strategize with your team, and dominate the battlefield!
- Notifications:
Multiple Notification Settings: Customize how and when players are notified about KOTH events. - KOTH Name:
Name each KOTH location, and it will be displayed in notifications. - Progress Bar:
Visual Progress Indicator: When a player enters the KOTH zone, a progress bar will display their capture progress. - Player Limit to Start:
Required Player Count: Set the number of players that need to be online for KOTH events to start. - Trigger Timer Before Delete Without Players:
Event Longevity: Define the time it takes before the event is deleted if no players are in the area. - Loot Items with Chance:
Customizable Loot: Define the loot items and the percentage chance for each item to spawn also with configurable attachments. - Capture Progress Triggers:
Wave Triggers: Set triggers for enemy waves to spawn based on capture progress percentages. - Trigger Radius:
Capture Distance: Determine the distance from which players can capture the area. - Loot Container Class:
Custom Crates: Define the type of crate that spawns once the area is captured also with configurable attachments. - Capture Time:
Capture Duration: Set the time it takes to capture the area. - Building sets:
Custom building sets to place around your koth area. - Max/Min Time Between Events:
Event Frequency: Define the minimum and maximum time between each KOTH event. - Max Count of Events:
Event Limit: Set the maximum number of KOTH events that can spawn each server restart. - Min Players to Capture:
Capture Requirement: Define the number of players needed to capture the area. - Bonus Lost Time for Each Player Over Threshold:
Capture Speed Boost: The more players in the area, the faster the capture time. - Map Markers:
LB Advanced Groups and Basicmap (More will be added in the future).
The KOTH mod comes with a highly customizable configuration file. Adjust the settings to create the ultimate KOTH experience on your server. every aspect of the mod can be tailored to your liking.
