Flippy

Flippy from Happy Tree Friends is here! Was made for Horror Jam and to honor the collaboration between Happy Tree Friends and Dumb Ways to Die.

Flippy (normal self) is weaker in general and has low kill power. When he becomes Fliqpy (killer self) he becomes very powerful and fast.

Flippy has a PTSD bar that fills up when you hit other players with any attack. It will also decrease when you get hit (except when it’s full already).

When the bar is full you can press taunt to flip out. Becoming Fliqpy permanently. Make sure you don’t get hit during it because it can be interrupted.

Fliqpy has a new moveset and he’s faster and stronger. So in general you want to achive this state to increase your chances to win.

N-Special: Flashbang / Grenade

Flashbang and Grenade can be thrown in any direction. The flashbang will stun the player for a short duration allowing you to follow up with combos. The explosion will add a tiny bit of PTSD.
Grenade has a strong knockback upwards and deals high damage. Both have a short cooldown.

F-Special: Cymbal Toss / Knife Throw

Cymbal will knock them away while the knife knocks them back to you. Has a short cooldown.

D-Special: Bear Trap / Bigger Bear Trap

Throws a bear trap on the floor that will catch anyone getting close enough to it. It will not activate when Flippy is on it as well. They can disarm it by hitting it.
Fliqpy’s bear trap is just the same but stronger with more hitstun.

U-Special: Parachute

Flippy jumps up and deploys his parachute. Fast falling or airdodging during it will put you on pratfall.
Fliqpy will jump higher and he can maneuver faster.
