Faction Assault (COD)
The Ultranationalists are a revolutionary political party and armed paramilitary force based in Russia who wish to return the country back to what it was during the days of the Soviet Union. They do believe that the Russian Federation has the best interests of the Russian people at heart, but in siding with Western interests both philosophically and economically, they perceive this to be destroying or weakening the Russian state. The Ultranationalists idolize the Soviet Union out of a sense of national pride, though their actual commitment to communist political and economic ideals are left ambiguous.
Al-Qatala (Arabic: القتَلة, lit. The Killers), later known as Al-Qatala-Aljahdid (Arabic: القتَلة الجُدد, lit. The New Killers), is an international terrorist organization predominantly made up of Urzik people and based in Urzikstan; they also globally operated in underground cells throughout many European cities and other countries.
ANR (Army of New Russia) – Armed Forces of Russia.
The official armed forces of the Russian Federation, created to repel aggression directed against the Russian Federation, to protect the integrity of the country and state sovereignty.
The ANR emerged after the revolution and the establishment of the RUNRP government in Russia. The government began to build up military power for the possible defence of the Russian Federation and war against the United States and its allies.
Separatists (OpFor, Opposing Force) (Arabic: الانفصالييين).
The exact formation of the movement is unknown, but it is believed to have been created by one of the Horsemen of Chaos, the Arab terrorist Khaled al-Asad. In 2011, separatists led by Khaled al-Asad carried out an armed coup in an unnamed Middle Eastern state that was sponsored by the Ultranationalists. The RUFRP, however, aimed to use the separatists as a distraction for NATO troops. The execution of President Yasser al-Fulani, carried out by al-Assad and broadcast live on world television, provided an excuse for the US to order an invasion. A 50,000-strong contingent under General Shepard briefly surrounded Al Assad’s forces in the capital. However, the NATO troops fell into a carefully planned trap, a nuclear device was detonated at Al Assad’s residence, which took the lives of 30,000 Marines and razed the State capital to the ground. After the elimination of al-Assad in Northern Azerbaijan, the fate of the separatist movement is unknown, perhaps it spontaneously collapsed due to a lack of leadership.

After Makarov is expelled from the government of New Russia, he forms his own group of the most radical ultra-nationalists. This organisation stages assassinations and terrorist attacks in various parts of the world. According to the plot of the game, they are partially involved in the invasion of the United States, together with the Army of New Russia
The Panama Defence Force (Fuerzas de Defensa de Panamá or Fuerzas de Defensa Panameñas) was the national defence force of Panama. Manuel Noriega, the dictator of Panama, was the commander of the SPO. He had full control over the SPO and used them as a private police force.
Tropas , officially the Cuban Revolutionary Armed Forces (Spanish: Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias), are the armed forces of Cuba, featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops , serving under Fidel Castro.
