This mod changes/alters many countries names to either their historical name or language friendly names based on research from multiple sources. If I overlooked something or didn’t properly translated it (outside of Paradox unable to accept some symbols) don’t hesitate to DM me or comment.

I do not intend to make a translation for non-Romanized alphabets (I would do pretty bad). So any are welcome to translate it to other texts like Urdu, Cyrillic, Hanzi, Congates, etc but I do request credit.
If individuals want to contribute with an accurate (as in actually accurate) name I missed please message or comment. If your info is accurate and valid you will be credited.

– Some names couldn’t be fully translated because of Eu4’s inability to take on certain language symbols. So I apologize if some names look off without them. Blame Paradox.
– There were a lot of nations to look up/research so let me know if there is anything I need to fix.
– Some nations couldn’t be translated since their preferred name is lost to us
– I left out translations of terms like Kingdom and Duchy to prevent a confined feeling should you become an empire.
– Paradox began using more authentic names after Tinto took control of Eu4. So most nations during and after Leviathan don’t need to be altered.
– Formables that anyone can form (Rome, HRE, etc.) or have multiple languages involved (Mongol Empire, Scandinavia, etc.) won’t be affected.
