remove particles
this mod removes water particles and background chunks from the game, thus significantly increasing fpsperformance when you looking through periscope
how?
it overrides biome definitions in ContentMapBiomes with copies of original files without <WaterParticles /> tag
somehow it works, at least for me
also, it seems that water particles are server side objects (omg)
so this mod should be installed on server
and it will conflict with other mods that changes <LevelGenerationParameters>
i’ve managed to make c# clientside version of this mod that will work even in multiplayer and on top of any other mods
