Economy Rebalanced
Works well with Conversion Methods Remastered
Rebalances the game’s economy in a few ways:
Food upkeep per population has been increased from 3 to 5
Starvation kicks in after 1 turn of negative food instead of 3 turns of negative food
Amount of food needed to increase population has been reduced, particularly at higher levels
The population cap has been increased to 99 from 30
Foresters gives +1 Draft, +2 Food, +2 Production instead of +2 Food & +3 Production
Boost requirements for Food buildings & Research buildings have been swapped so that Food buildings are now the easiest building line to boost
Granary gives +15 Food instead of +20
Estate Hall gives +20 Food instead of +30
Farmer’s Guild no longer gives +30% Food
Workshop no longer gives +5 Draft
Blacksmith gives +15 Draft instead of +20
Armory gives +20 Draft instead of +30
Smith’s Guild gives +10 Draft per Forest instead of +5 Draft & Food per Forest
Barbarian:
- Battle Ritual Site gives +6 Draft & Knowledge instead of +5 Draft & +8 Knowledge
- Ancestral Seer Hall gives +9 Draft & Knowledge instead of +10 Draft & Knowledge
Dark:
- Experimentation Chambers gives +6 Gold & Knowledge instead of +8 Gold & +5 Knowledge
- Underground Laboratory gives +9 Gold & Knowledge instead of +10 Gold & +5 Knowledge
- Interrogation Dungeon gives +12 City Stability & Knowledge instead of +10 City Stability, +5 Knowledge, & +2 Knowledge per hero in the Prison
- Ritual Mausoleum gives +24 City Stability, +24 Mana and grants the Bathhouse: XP Bonus to units produced in the city, instead of +20 City Stability, +5 Mana and +2 Mana per hero in the Crypt. The cost has been increased to tier 3 (matches Bathhouse now) from tier 2
Feudal:
- Militia Barracks gives +6 Draft & Production instead of +5 City Stability, +5 Draft & +10 Production
- Royal Smith gives +9 City Stability & Draft instead of +20 Draft
- House Hunting Grounds gives +6 Draft & Food instead of +5 Draft & +10 Food
- Serf Quarters gives +9 Draft & Food instead of +10 Draft & +20 Food
High:
- Artisan Workshop gives +6 City Stability & Production instead of +5 City Stability & +8 Production
- Lightforge gives +9 Draft & Gold instead of +15 Draft & +5 Gold
- Solar Nexus gives +10 City Stability per Conduit & Research Post instead of +5
Industrious
- Farmer’s Workstead gives +6 Food & Production instead of +8 Food and +5 Production
- Grand Mill gives +9 Food & Production instead of +15 Food & +5 Production
- Bastion’s Barricade cost has been increased to Tier 4 from Tier 2. Gives +20 Fortification & +20 City Stability instead of +10 Fortification & +10 Stability
Mystic
- Evocator’s Abode +6 Mana & Production instead of +5 Mana & +8 Production
- Stone Conjurer gives +9 Mana & Production instead of +5 Mana & +10 Production
Reaver
- Mana Forge gives +6 Mana & Production instead of +8 Mana & +5 Production
- Lodestone Foundry gives +9 Mana & Production instead of +10 Mana & +5 Production
- Extraction Nexus gives +5 Gold & Mana per SPI instead of +2
Primal
- Woodcarver’s Workshop gives +6 Food & Production instead of +5 Food & +8 Production
- Stonestele gives +9 Food & Production instead of +5 Food & +10 Production
- Shrine to the Spirits gives +2 City Stability, Draft, Knowledge & Mana per Farm instead of +10 Food

- Hall of Devotion gives +9 Draft & Gold instead of +10 Draft & Gold
Foresters adjacent to the Worker Construct Nexus give +3 Draft instead of +3 Production
