Description:

Hi there, thanks for stopping by my mod. This is a mod focused on expanding the Lizardmen roster. I have made multiple units being: Ancient Cold One, Ancient Horned One, Ancient Carnosaur, Savage Kroxigor, Saurus Warriors (Jade Spears), Saurus Warriors (Jade Clubs), Old Guards, & Golden Guards. I’ve also made two unique regiments of reknown units, the twin Kroxigors named Kroxi-Kahn and Kroxi-Dahn. I plan on creating and releasing more units as time goes on, but for now I hope you all enjoy.

Ancient Cold One:

This unit looks like the feral cold ones, but is almost the size of a Carnosaur. Instead of being in a pack like the feral cold ones this unit is a singular monster type unit. I made this unit to be like the Carnosaur, but considering its more like a raptor it is weaker, but much faster.

Ancient Horned One:

This unit is like the horned ones, but is almost the size as the Carnosaur, slightly bigger than the Ancient Cold One mentioned above. This unit is a singular monster type as well, but being an armored version and a horned one, it comes with better armor, reduced speed (still faster than the Carnosaur), better melee attack & defense, and other slight variations.

Ancient Carnosaur:

This is a Carnosaur that is slightly larger in size, better stats, but slower, different skin color, doesn’t suffer from rampage, more expensive to buy and upkeep. Available to recruit from same building as the regular Carnosaur, but has an extra building requirement(old ones worship).

Savage Kroxigor:

This is a single entity Kroxigor that is larger in size and acts like a giant. Its stats are not as good as a giant and has like half the health of a Chaos Giant. It can be recruited from the same building as the normal Kroxigors, but you also need level 1 beast lair.

Saurus Warriors (Jade Spears):

This is an anti-large and anti-cavalry unit. It is composed of Saurus Warriors who specialize in killing large enemies, but as a draw-back, are weak to just about everything else. These units are designed to be a purely defensive unit to deal with the larger units.

Saurus Warriors (Jade Clubs):

Jade Clubs are an armor-piercing unit recruit able in the same building as the shielded Saurus Warriors, except you also need the smith building. This unit has high attack, but low melee defense in an attempt to keep this unit and the Old Guards different enough to allow for a reasonable amount of variation, meaning you can have both Old Guards and Jade Clubs and both will serve a purpose.

Old Guards:

This unit is based off the Temple Guards, but instead of following the defensive stats that all Saurus Warriors have, this unit is focused more on offense. Its stats are slightly better than Temple Guards only in reverse. Temple Guards should still be used instead for defensive purposes and the Old Guards should be used on the offensive.

Golden Guards:

The Golden Guards are elite spear infantry with charge defense against all. I tried to keep from making the Temple Guards redundant by making the Golden Guards have slightly different stats. The Golden Guards have lower attack, lower charge bonus, way less of an anti-large bonus, instead this unit should be more for general defense and it hits especially hard against cavalry, as it has a cavalry bonus. This unit is also more expensive than their Old Guard and Temple Guard brethren with a higher upkeep as well. This unit can be recruited from the same building as the Temple & Old Guards, but with an added necessity, you also need to have a level 3 industry building, to keep with the “Golden” theme of the unit.

Regiments of Reknown

Kroxi-Kahn & Kroxi-Dahn:

Kroxi-Kahn & Kroxi-Dahn are meant to be twin Kroxigors who are similar, but are used for different enemies. Kroxi-Kahn is the bigger of the two, so naturally he has more health and damage, but has less melee defense because he is a brute. Kahn is meant to be used against cavalry and large units as he has bonus stats against those units. Kroxi-Dahn is the smaller of the two, having less health, armor, damage, but makes up for it in better combat stats and speed. Dahn is the meant to be used against infantry and against enemy heroes or generals. Both units have coldblooded to restrain rampaging units and each have another ability that suits their style. As for recruitment of these two, I couldn’t get them to be recruited globally without a building so they can be recruited by building the Kroxigor Labour District (Industry lvl 3 building). I thought the name was fitting so I put them there.

All units are available to be recruit in custom battles as well as campaign for Hexoatl, Last Defenders, & Tlaqua (I also added all my units to the new dlc faction, followers of Sotek, but I don’t own the dlc so you guys have to confirm that they work since I am unable to test).
Like I said, I’m planning on creating and releasing more units into this pack, but for now enjoy and let me know what you think.
