Break of Dawn 2004 (Map)
New asymmetrical map and AI representative of the state of the world in the early 2000s.
FOR THE IMPROVED MAP-SPECIFIC AI, REQUIRES:
* My "Break of Dawn (AI)" improved stock AI mod.
-OR-
* My "Break of Dawn AI (GDP++ Compat)" mod if you use GDP++ and want the AI to, too.
**WIP**
Features:
– Hard coded AI strategies that better represent the regions of the time period.
– Regions that represent the military alliances of the time.
Known issues:
– The preview of the map in match setup does not accurately show province ownership. This can be fixed by clicking ‘Tune Regions’ and then ‘Cancel’.
– This is an edited version of the Iron Curtain 1980 map, and still retains nation names and borders from that time period. This will be fixed eventually.
Planned features:
– Custom AI with more interesting behavior and better balance.
– Period-correct city and nation names where applicable.
– Period-correct national borders.
