Description:
General info:

Alemannic Divergence is a simple Crusader Kings 3 mod that mainly separates Alemannic and Swabian into two separate cultures, with the goal of increasing cultural accuracy for the region during that time.
(That’s also how its done in EU5)

If you’re from Baden, Alsace, Switzerland, or nearby regions and weren’t happy with being grouped as Swabian, this mod is for you! It’s also perfect for anyone who wants a more historically accurate approach to the Alemannic regions.

New Feature:

Version 2.0 now added Romansh/Rumantsch culture in Grisons!

The Romansh people are separate from the Germanic cultures and speak their own Latin-derived language, especially in early mediaeval times, they made up a larger percentage of the population than today which changed over time due to increased Alemannic settlement especially from the High to Late Mediaeval Period.

And with 3.0 the duchy of Baden was added as a separate duchy.

Cultural Regions:

Alemannic: Covers Baden, Switzerland, and Alsace.
Swabian: Centred in Württemberg, Augsburg, and the Allgäu. (after 915 which is the historical founding date of the duchy of Swabia, the culture can also be manually created via a decision in the 867 start date)
Romansh: Only in Grisons.

Compatibility: It should be compatible with most other mods, including major overhaul mods like RICE. The mod supports English, German and French language,
and now includes basic Simplified Chinese language support (translation accuracy not guaranteed).

This is my first CK3 mod, and more features may be added in the future.
