UAZ-469
The UAZ-469 is a Soviet 4×4 off-road light utility vehicle developed in 1971 to replace the GAZ-69 for military service. It is manufactured by Russian company UAZ and fitted with a UMZ-452MI inline-four engine. The UAZ-469 was commonly found in Warsaw Pact and other allies of the USSR. Original civilian versions were discontinued because of new emission standards, replaced by the modern UAZ Hunter. The abundance of this Eastern Bloc car has led to its continued appearance in wars to this day, from Iraq and Syria in the Middle East to Ukraine and Russia in Eastern Europe.
