This is the MK2 upgrade of my Gladiator Tank. More Armor (especially around the guns), better upgradeability, some visual improvements, includes some fancy new stuff that wasn’t available at the time of the first version.
Armor is solid, with a focus at frontal armoring. All around armor is slightly improved over the MK1, which causes the tank to be slightly heavier and a bit less agile.
Upgrading:
Can be upgraded to around core 15. Upgrades are marked with decals only, you got several spacings for 3×1, 3×2 and 2×2 devices. Use as needed. It is necessary to remove some of the carbon pipe blocks to make use of all the space (to the right of the internal cockpit and inside below the external cockpit access)
You can add two more cannons below the existing ones.
Tuning Hover Engines positioning:
Right now the hovers are set up to optimise movement. I.e. at the front and sides. This means the tank will be a bit annoying if you want to aim upwards for extended periods of time, as it will automatically level out. If you want to change that behavior, you can move the hover engines to the alternate positions at the middle of the tank. That will make movement over difficult terrain worse, but will increase targeting stability.
