The log file is pretty detailed if you need to debug your own custom units. Units who already have Hunker Down are listed here for completeness, but will not be affected.
-= COMPATIBLITY =-
Everything up to WOTC+TLP works with this. Do not use with LW2, use my legacy mod instead.
Supports Ashlynne’s ADVENT Psi, both versions.
-= ALIENS VISUALIZATION =-
Aliens have bugged animations, so I made a version of Hunker Down that has no special animation, so the idle animation will be used. If you are a modder, i called it "HunkerDownNoAnim". It has the same effect and text as the original ability.
To know what version to give, this mod checks bIsAlien boolean. If set to true, the unit receives the NoAnim version.
-= KNOWN ISSUES =-
Aliens cannot benefit from DeepCover, the ability listener listens for HunkerDown specifically.
-= NOTES FOR AI =-
This is now a requirement for my AI packs. It works without this mod, but this mod brings additional functionality that is expected of units.
The base WOTC game will not use Hunker Down properly, this is not included in this mod. It only gives the ability itself, not how and when to use it to units. If you want units to use it, you need an AI mod. I suggest my own package of course, ADVENT Future+Blessings of the Elders+Wrath of the Chosen.
