[WOTC] Open Class Weapon Restrictions
This mod provides an easy way to open access to additional weapon categories to all soldier classes based on weapon categories that are already available to them. For example, this mod can potentially unlock Assault Rifles to all soldier class that use Cannons.
By default this mod does absolutely nothing, so it’s completely safe to add or remove. Other mods can provide their configuration for this mod. If you are subscribing to this mod because another mod requires it, you don’t have to do anything else.
If you wish to add some configuration yourself, use the [WOTC] Open Class Weapon Restrictions Config mod to do so. That mod contains the necessary configuration file along with examples and instructions.
Technically, it’s possible to achieve the same result by editing XComClassData.ini for individual soldier classes, but if you play with a lot of soldier class mods at the same time, it gets tedious.
