Europe:
Over the centuries many small differences build up to create the world we see here, but the biggest is the English victory in the Hundred Years War. France as a failed state has had a snowball of consequences across the entire world, but in Europe the lack of France and especially Napoleon has let some countries see their own place on the world stage become stronger than could otherwise be possible, and for others the lack of an existential threat keeps them dis-unified.
Americas:
The lack of many Europeans in the colonial sphere sees natives who were more expansionist consolidating their tribes into nations rather than confederations. South America, which still had a bit of a colonial race sees some interesting demographics and political situations. In the North colonialism is reaching a new all time high with Japan in the West, and Amsterdam and Scandinavia in the East.
Asia:
Given no western influence a more industrialized Japan has taken it’s place as a World Power in East Asia, using it’s influence in Korea and Manchuria to keep China fractured, but with their focus now in the Pacific and their colonial empire the Chinese states finally have some breathing room to consolidate power. While in the west the almost complete absence of colonial powers has given rise to 3 major powers in the Indian subcontinent.

Fixed missing pops in Poland and Asia.
Update 2:
Multiple countries have been rebalanced to have a stronger starting economy and Gov Admin issues have been fixed for many countries.
