This mod overhauls Victoria 3’s economic gameplay by introducing university-led research grants that let nations carve out specialized industrial niches. Invest in specific goods categories to unlock era-specific inventions!
- Research Grants:
Universities gain a new production method group to invest funds into 19 goods categories (e.g., Farms, Mining, Textiles). Spend money monthly to generate innovation points and unlock game-changing inventions. - 60+ Historically Inspired Inventions:
Progress through 3–5 technologies per category, such as Mechanical Reaper Systems (Farms) or Electric Drill Rigs (Mining). Each invention unlocks new production methods and modifiers tailored to your chosen industries. - Progress Tracking:
New journal entries automatically track your progress toward the next breakthrough. - Trade-Focused Economy:
Specialized production methods require imported goods (e.g., fertilizer for farms, chemicals for explosives), incentivizing global trade.

Should be compatible with all other mods.
- AI Compatibility: University grants provide minor production of goods to ensure the AI selects research grants.
