Added Type 96A and VT5 tanks for China. Now Type 96/96A/99A can all obtain the upgrade of hull cage armor and heavy explosive reactive armor (ERA) side skirts when repaired after hull damage, or after being repaired by the automatic repair function in the management menu.

Some Chinese armored vehicles with large and flat turrets can now be equipped with a remote weapon station by put a mgun into their inventory and double-clicking to use it.

A portion (not all) of the main infantry equipment of all 4 factions has undergone polygon reduction to reduce memory consumption. In the future, further polygon reduction will be carried out to improve issues related to memory usage and crash times.

Small fixes, I can’t write them down because of the characters limit.
Important update notes of previous versions:
Helicopters now joined the battle!!
Added 2 transport helicopters: Mi17, UH60; 3 attack helicopters: AH1Z, Ka50, WZ10.
Fixed COOP crash caused by inventory item.
Added new faction Chinese Taiwan.
Greatly enhanced the stability of the mod, now it can work for 2 hours without crush in maps not too big.

This is a singleplayer/coop mod only(PVP mode may be added later on, but as of now I have no time in the upcoming months)
You will see the mod campaigns above the vanilla campaigns. On top of that, this mod supports most of the vanilla WWII campaign maps, you are able to swap out enemy’s and your factions into the modern factions in game if desired.
Atm there are 4 factions: China, Chinese Taiwan, USA, and Russia; More to come in the future.
Unlike most MOW mod which collect a great amount of vehicles for Multiplayer, this is a Single Player and Coop mod. And unlike most SP mods which just make maps similar to the official campaign that you can only fight as specific faction A VS faction B (eg. USA VS German) that its developer designed to the end of the time, this mod provides you different experience every time with the same map with fully customizable skirmish
This mod contains but not limited with 3 parts:
1, Fully customizable skirmish that you can customize the type of the battle(infantry battle/light armored vehicles only/all vehicles),factions of each sides(player,player’s ally,enemy and enemy’s ally) for both official campaigns and new SP maps added in mod.
2, A game management menu which contains sub menus for a lot of useful functions like collect ammo from corpses and distribute ammo to your infantry,change weather,delete vehicle wreckage,turn on/off medic auto save wounders, borrow mp.
3, Other AI and functions that automatically happen in game which would help you or your enemy.

Notes:
1. In-game feature highlight: Random tank.
There are 3 kinds of mystery boxes: random light armored vehicle for 225 reinforcement points(RPs), random low tier main battle tank(or random medium tank) for 450 RPs, and random high tier main battle tank(or random heavy tank) for 900 RPs.
* If your rally point for the random tank is within 30 meter radius of a/an infantry/car/truck/artillery, a corresponding fire support vehicle will be spawned instead of a tank. Therefore, random light(225 RPs) may summon a 81/82mm self-propelled mortar; Random medium(450 RPs) may summon a 120mm self-propelled mortar/gun-mortar; Random heavy(900 RPs) may summon a self-propelled RBU rockets (for Russia, BMPT and TOS will also join this group one day) or HJ-10 (for China), and US doesn’t have high tier fire support vehicles yet so it will switch to normal tank.
If no units or only armored vehicles exists near the rally point at the time of summoning, a normal, ordinary tank will be spawned.
For example: if you summon a random medium(450) near an infantry as the US faction, a M1064 120mm mortar carrier will spawn in, if there’s nothing or only tank near the rally point, M1A1 tank will be summoned, however only M1A2 tank will be summoned with the random heavy(900) option as there is no other alternatives in this category at the moment.

2. Stability/stable uptime is closely related to the memory status. MOW:AS2 is a 32-bit game, and the theoretically maximum available memory is 4GB. Actual tests shown the upper limit of the memory supported by the game is approximately 3.1 to 3.2GB. Once this memory upper limit is reached, the game will crash and exit, the error message is generally "E12=not enough space".
After repeated improvements, the stability of the current version (2025.0724) has been greatly enhanced. Through actual testing, it has been found that on Win 10, a normal sized battle with three factions on a medium map can run stably for 2 hours. However, please note the following basic principles:
2.1: The bigger the map is (or more flag the map has), the more memory will be consumed.
2.2: The more factions involved, the more memory will be consumed. For example, player as China + Russia as ally VS USA as enemy, this involves 3 factions; player as USA + ally as USA VS enemy as USA + enemy’s ally as USA, this involves only 1 faction.
2.3: The more buildings the map has, the more memory will be consumed.
The final continuous and stable running time is determined by the combined effect of the above 3 factors. For instance, on a smaller map with 4 factions involved, the stability may still be acceptable, but on a big map, it is advisable to avoid involving too many factions.
In addition, there are 3 buttons in the management menu (the flag menu) that directly help with memory control:
Minimum RAM: By using various extreme control measures (such as speeding up the recycling of damaged vehicles, including but not limited to vehicles not leaving xx model after explosion), it can slow down the rate of memory increase. When the game starts, the mod has automatically applied some corresponding control measures according to the size of the map. So, if the stability is acceptable for you in a certain map with certain settings (like 3 factions, size medium battle), you may not need to use these buttons.
Loose RAM: Cancel all control measures, including those automatically applied by the mod at the start of the game. It is generally recommended to use this only in small maps.
No bodyarmor: Removing body armor can reduce the memory consumption by approximately 200MB. Especially if you are already close to the memory limit (3.2GB for Win10/Win11) but estimate that the game cannot end in a short time and you don’t want to load a saved game, you can immediately use this button. Of course, you can also use it if you simply don’t like the significant improvement in soldiers’ survivability brought by body armor.

3. Unit roster is incomplete, for example there’s only one large UAV shared between all 3 factions, and the Russian 2S3 SPG is used as a placeholder for the Chinese Type 83 SPG, etc.

4. This mod is continuously being updated. Not being updated for a month or two doesn’t mean the mod is dead. On the contrary, this generally indicates that I am prepare for the next major update.
