No, absolutely nothing. What you see are extra uniforms provided by the In-game Camo Selector, if you want to use them, you will need to subscribe to it.
No, it is absolutely optional. I gave the British units their most distinctive pattern during the Global War on Terror, that is loosely when Door Kickers 2 takes place. However, if you want to make use of the older DPM or the current MTP uniforms, you will need it.
Yes, it wasn’t, and there was a gigantic list of repeated gear just to change the color of helmet and vest.
The appearance of the gear in-game is fixed. Changing helmets and vests only changes their statistics. All gear has been put together to portray a proper British trooper of the period they’re meant to represent.
