Description:

The Hobart Class provides air defence for accompanying ships, land forces and infrastructure in coastal areas, and for self-protection against missiles and aircraft. The Aegis Combat System incorporating the state-of-the-art phased array radar and the SM-2 missile provides an advanced air defence system capable of engaging enemy aircraft and missiles at ranges in excess of 150km.

The Hobart Class carries a helicopter for surveillance and response to support key warfare areas. The surface warfare function includes long-range anti-ship missiles and a naval gun capable of firing extended range munitions in support of land forces.

THIS MODEL IS CURRENTLY LOCATED UNDER ***AUSTRALIA or SPAIN*** in the Mission Editor and covers HMAS Hobart, Brisbane and Sydney for Australia and all five F100 Frigates for Spain

This asset is currently 85% complete while I tweak some minor things but instead of holding onto it I wanted to release it for everyone to use as is. Please ensure you take note of the requisite mods to run this, failure to do so will result in the mod not working OR a diluted experience.

*Important: This model has been implemented into Sea Power with the original authors permission**.
**This permission does not extend to any of Simpson’s Virtual Slipway other models, if you would like to implement any of his other models you MUST request permission as these are copyrighted assets.

***KNOWN INCOMPLETE FEATURES***

– VLS hatches aren’t animated but the .ini is rigged for it, I will implement this!
– Torpedos not implemented, this will be done I just need to model and animated torpedo door
