Description:

Long ago, Combat Extended had patches that adjusted the health and body size of each animal to more realistic values, as well as increased the chance of hitting an animal’s internal organs. These patches were then removed in late 2022 with the release of CE version 5.0, causing most animals to be unreasonably tanky and awkward to hunt in my opinion.

This mod simply brings back those old patches, with some alterations made to work with modern CE. Obviously means Combat Extended is required with this mod, as the patches assume certain changes that are only present in CE.

ON AVERAGE, most animals will now be easier to kill, with more shots resulting in a heart shot. No more rats shrugging off being hit with .22 lr, or deer being shot 3 times without hitting a single organ.

COMPATIBILITY NOTES: The release of CE v5.0 also deleted every single health and body size patch for various animal mods, including Alpha Animals and Vanilla Animals Expanded mods. They will still work alongside this one, but animals added by them won’t have realistic health stats. I do plan on adding the patches back, but please be patient as it’s a lot of data to recover.
