40′ Composite Mill Gondola
These cars are based on the PRR GRa class and similar cars used by many other railroads, especially those in the industrialized Northeast and Midwest. Essentially a steel flat car with low wooden sides and drop-ends, these cars were used for all sorts of loads that didn’t need to be protected from weather and were too bulky to load into boxcars such as structural steel and rough cut lumber. The type was common in service through WWII with some lasting into the early 60’s.
This pack includes 25 skins, including a generic colorable version. There’s also a randomized variant which will mix up which of the real railroad skins show up on your train. Skins include:
