After the End Anniversary Edition
An updated release of After the End Fan Fork, containing many new bug fixes, adjustments, issue corrections, and minor restored content. This is NOT a submod, do not have this & the original mod active at the same time! (Please delete previous installations of the original mod from your documents before subscribing, we have kept the same file name as the original mod to try and maintain submod compatibility.)
In 2014, Ofaloaf released the first version of After the End, instantly gaining a cult following. In honor of the 10th anniversary of this community, we are delighted to share this special release of ATEFF with you.
We have fixed many bugs, issues, and oversights present in the final release of After the End Fan Fork. We have also introduced a few new additions, previously cut and unrealized content, and quality-of-life improvements, all aiming to complement the original experience
We hope you enjoy this anniversary patch, and are able to both relive old – and forge new – memories with it.
If you’re new to After the End, this is a Neo-medieval post-post apocalyptic mod focused on an Americas centuries after The Event brought the old world to ruin. New civilizations have rebuilt and you guide a family though this brave new world!

FAQ
- Is this an official After the End upload?Yes, this is done by the team that has followed up the fanfork team and is an updated remaster of the last patch, with numerous work on bugfixing and quality of life.
- Are any DLC required?No DLCs are required to play our mod. However, we do make use of DLC exclusive features for many mechanics and having all the gameplay dlcs is optimal for best gameplay experience!
- How stable is multiplayer? Multiplayer is playable and is mostly stable. No major game-breaking issues seem to be present in the early stages of the game. Though issues may arise with decisions and events. We cannot guarantee an experience similar to singleplayer. Feel free to report any bugs you notice, although keep in mind multiplayer stability is not necessarily a priority for us. If you enjoy the mod, consider donating to the lead coder TSF4!
