Kortenaer Class Frigate
The Kortenaer Class is a series of Dutch frigates first introduced in the 1970s,with 10 units purchased by the Dutch navy.The ship was split in to two batches,batch I had 2 OTO Melara 76mm cannons while the batch II removed the one OTO Melara on top of the Hangar with a 30mm Goalkeeper CIWS.Also available is the SH14C and SH14B Sea Lynx helicopters with fully working systems.Also build using the Kortenaer as a basis were the Jacob van Heemskerck Guided missiles frigates,changing the upper superstructure by removing the hangar and replacing it with a MK13 launcher equipped with SM1R missiles.Also the Bow mounted MK75 was removed and the new sensors were added to improve air search capabilities.
More Kortenaer Variants are in the works to complete the family of ships started with the Kortenaer.Thanks to anyone for trying and enjoying the mod!
