Moddable DLC Weapons
A Note:
How LW2 handles .ini modifications is weird and not even messing around with load order will work. You may need to alter LW2’s XComLW_Overhaul.ini in order to add mod slots to weapons.
NOTE: This mod does not strictly require both DLCs – it will work if only one of them is installed.
Enables upgrade slots on SPARK Rifles and Alien Hunters weapons (Boltcaster, Pistol, Axe), set to follow vanilla rules (1 – 2 – 2) by default.
That can be adjusted in the XComModdableSPARKRifles.ini found in the mod’s folder located at (wherever XCOM 2 is installed)steamappsworkshopcontent268500717783955Config
For Long War 2, open this mod’s XComLW_OverHaul.ini instead (located in the same place described above), and uncomment the lines pertaining to hunter weapons if you’re not using a mod like Buildable Hunter Weapons, which will do their own thing relating to that.
Note that the original .ini may end up fully overriding, in which case that’ll need to be adjusted to LW2’s values of 3 slots for all tiers.
There is also a variable in the .ini to make Alien Hunters weapons have only one slot.
