Forsaken Faction For Alpha Genes
This is a continuation of the Forsaken Biotech Edition mod: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3100999057, adding back all the content that Sarg didn’t port to Alpha Genes.
Adds the Forsaken faction back into the game, now using Alpha Gene’s version of the xenotype.
The two Forsaken specific drugs and their crops are also back, but just as the rest of the Forsaken gear, only pawns with Forsaken Knowledge are able to produce them.
Also adds back the quest leading you to an ancient Forsaken shrine and its potential recruit to help you access all the Forsaken content.
In the conversion process we had to overwrite a def from Alpha Biomes ; players running this mod will be given a one time harmless red error and all ragadast fruits present on their map will disappear.
DO NOT run this mod alongside the original Forsaken Biotech mod. There’s so much overlapping content its sure to break something somewhere.
Q. Can this be added mid-save?
Aside from the previously mentionned issue there should not be any problem. You’ll need VEF’s faction discovery tool to add the Forsaken faction to your game.
Q. Can this be run without Biotech/Alpha Genes?
Absolutely not.

I’m not in control of the gear anymore.
Too early to discuss but we do have a few ideas for expanding content.
– Crisp and ChJees: Authors of the original version of the forsakens mod.
– Kikohi, Trunken, Immortalus kept it updated up to the point where we took over.
– Oskar Potocki: for the base and culture icons, the VE Framework and the general plethora of kick-ass content he keeps pumping out.
– Sarg Bjornson for graciously reaching out before merging our old mod into his, and generally being a source of learning on how to code Rmworld mods.
-Tynan Sylvester for creating the last game I’ll ever play in my life…
