then DELETE EVERYTHING EXCEPT:

values.set << ANY vs ANY
map_points.set << ALL MAPS

I will not change the main mod myself. Do it for your own instance of the mod (explained above).

I feel the ammo and RP systems in the base game are poorly implemented, which is why I modified them. My approach isn’t perfect, but it lets you bypass time-wasting mechanics and focus on the game.

I don’t consider my changes cheats. As I explained in the mod description, you can achieve the same results through game mechanics, though it requires a lot of time that could be spent fighting.

For RP in vanilla, you can reroll maps by starting a solo coop game, then canceling it to refresh the map.

For ammo, rearm tanks with supply trucks after battles, then sell the trucks to avoid wasting ammo—but it takes 15-20 minutes to rearm everything.

My mod actually makes the game harder, as LOW and STANDARD economies add more enemies per star, which means more fighting and more fun.

HOW TO FIX THE MOD IF YOU’RE PLAYING WITH CUSTOM FACTIONS (MACE VALOUR ETC)

Go to:

then to:
resourcesetdynamic_campaign

THEN EITHER
delete "values.set" – this removes the "any vs any" feature from the mod.

OR
if you REALLY want a certain combination just add it yourself in "values.set".
To do that, find the custom "values.set" file in your other mod (MACE etc) and use the faction names from there.

The names are at the bottom of the file and look something like this:
"ger rus" "rus ger" << They’re always paired like that. Make sure you respect that format.
Custom factions have special names (e.g. usuk, gerita, etc each mod does it differently).

Open the file with notepad and combine them yourself. It’s not encrypted or anything.
ONLY USE FACTIONS FROM THE PARENT MOD.
If it’s not in the parent mod’s "values.set" then it doesn’t exist and your game will crash.

That’s it. It’s that simple, really! Good luck !
If you make a mistake and you need to "reset" the mod just unsubscribe then re-subscribe and it will download it again.

Upload your own sub-mod with the correct "values.set" for a specific mod and leave a comment here for people to follow. Ostfront has its own mod upload tool in the main folder. Just respect the folder structure from the original mod and only add the files you modified, nothing else. Thanks !

CONQUEST UNLOCKED – MAIN MOD DESCRIPTION

1.This is a collection of changes I wanted in Ostfront but couldn’t find anywhere.
2.Tested in coop and single player.
3.Might work with other mods. Let me know.
4.Doesn’t work with latest MACE because it has custom factions.(read fix above)
5.Variations of the mod are listed at the bottom (as I make them)

CHANGES THAT THIS MOD MAKES:

*ANY VS ANY
USA vs RUS? no problem. USA vs USA you got it. All 16 combinations.
(You DON’T have ONE vs EVERYONE ELSE)

*ALL DLC MAPS ON ANY CONQUEST (MUST OWN ALL DLC)
The pool of maps now has all the maps instead of regional maps like in vanilla so it doesnt matter which campaign you select, Ostfront, Westfront, Talvisota, you will get to play all maps in one game.

*2000 AMMO ON ANY MISSION
Still need ammo trucks for combat logistics, but every mission gives you enough ammo to refill all your depleted troops after combat, between fights. Don’t know about you but I finish combat in 20 minutes and then play this meta game another 20 minutes to regroup and rearm all my guys and it’s so annoying.

*MP rewards are still vanilla. The reason is that I think vanilla gives you enough MP already, after the first 2-3 missions, where you still need to capture everything. The vanilla MP return for lost units is 0.7 of the cost so it’s very difficult to go broke on MP

*RP ON ANY MISSION AS IF IT WAS RESEARCH MISSION
The number of research points is still VANILLA and dependant on difficulty and number of stars, It’s just that every type of mission for all intents and purposes is also a research mission.

*DEPLOY ALL GROUPS during combat start. No need to wait for the CP timer anymore. I find that mechanic useless. It doesn’t have any tactical challenge, and it’s annoying in coop when each player has his own group.

*DIFFICULTY: Ostfront brings veteran units on lower economy difficulties, but not more of them, compared to higher economies. If you fancy a challenge, I changed ENEMY SPAWN RATES for LOW(HARD) and NORMAL economies to match the number of mission stars as follows:

* one star missions: 1x enemy troops (vanilla) (0.9x on NORMAL, useful in late game)
** two stars: 1.25x enemy troops (1.15x on NORMAL)
*** three stars: 1.5x enemy troops (1.25x on NORMAL)

The other economy types (HIGH, V.HIGH) (i.e. EASY and V EASY) are unaffected.

*Other than that EVERYTHING ELSE VANILLA. Unit stats, research trees, Difficulty (except LOW Economy), etc. all vanilla. You still need to do airport for airstrikes stars or factory for extra manpower, as needed.

DISCLAIMER: Just because I couldn’t find these changes myself doesn’t mean somebody else didn’t make similar mods. Ostfront is very easy to mod (value adjustments, not overhauls) and it has its own upload tool, so apologies if you found these changes elsewhere, most likely someone went through the same process as me.

It takes under an hour to look up how to do a mod like this from scratch so I don’t claim to have done anything extraordinary here. I made this for my coop group so we can play together and I’m just sharing it here for anyone to use. I personally don’t care if you use/re-upload this mod, it’s only a couple of values that have been changed in the vanilla files. Anyone can do this, trust me.
