Everlasting Life
Do you also miss the days of incredibly rare but impactful events that were present in the previous entry? Everlasting Life brings back a very rare immortality event chain, heavily inspired by the immortality events in Crusader Kings 2. Full credit where it’s due to the CK2 event writer as I re-used some of their writing for the first two events before deviating with something more manageable. To my knowledge, in the base game there is still no way of getting the immortal trait organically, so this fills that role.
There is approximately a 1 in 100 chance per any character’s lifetime (assumed across a lifespan of 60 years) of simply having the chance to become immortal. Factoring in actually becoming immortal is another matter- the chances would be lower than that.
- Rulers only, no adventurers.
- Must be 30 years or older.
- Must have a court chaplain.
