F/A-18C Hornet （Operation Desert Storm）
The F/A-18 Hornet is a carrier-based aircraft of the U.S. Navy (early models have been retired). It is an all-weather medium-sized multi-purpose fighter for air/ground defense. It was further developed by McDonnell Douglas based on the YF-17 Cobra prototype designed by Northrop. It is the first aircraft of the U.S. military to have both fighter and attack aircraft basic mission codes.
For aircraft carriers with limited space and a small number of aircraft carriers, a multi-purpose general-purpose aircraft like the F/A-18 is a very suitable choice for attachment. It has been the main carrier-based aircraft of the U.S. Navy since its deployment in 1983 until its retirement. The current main carrier-based aircraft of the U.S. aircraft carrier, the F/A-18E/F "Super Hornet", is based on the "Hornet" and has been greatly modified and enlarged in overall size.
This mod is a separate unit extract from the Desert Storm 35th Anniversary mod in development, so there is no anti-ship loadout
