Tow Truck [B42]

This is the stand alone fully functional Harrys Tow Truck from @harrycheez and later edited by @Enobdercas. Included is a stand alone stripped version of Better Towing by @Aiteron so there are no dependencies. The tow hook and trailer hitch work seperatly while the tow bar and tow rope have been removed. The original Rhino model has been slightly altered so it can turn better while towing.

This is my first and likely only mod so I’m not very good at it but I wanted a proper working towtruck and I figured others might want it too.

* Animated doors, windows, and hood.
* A generic interior.

-If you choose to run this mod straight out of the box, then understand that the base game restricts towing a vehicle by constantly applying the brakes making it rather difficult towing anything from the front. So I recommend towing vehicles from the rear bumper, this works much better.

-If you would like to tow from the front or rear with the same ease, then you can install the included "CarController.class" file located at

This will not mess up the games ability to update but will require you to reinstall the .class file after. (As long as nothing changes from the Dev side) All i did was comment out the lines that apply the brakes, so it’s stock otherwise.

-You can use other mods that also change how vehicles are towed. One mod that I have tested and works is "Realistic Vehicle Physics" by black_moons. The mod overhauls the car engine and drivetrain physics.
