Realistic F1 Mirage + (fictional) F1M (Carrier)
The F1 Mirage displayed in the game stays behind the capabilities of the real plane. That´s why I decided to create a mod splitting up the F1 Mirage into more planes with more realistic loadouts and weapons.
As of now, the mod features:
The F1CR:
The recon-variant of the F1 Mirage used by the French Air Force. It features the SLAR (Sideways-Looking Airborne Radar) 2000 "Raphael TH" which is displayed by the EA6B-ECM-Pod as of now.
The F1CT:
An upgraded version of the F1C of the French Air Force. It is able to carry a larger variety of weapons and is overall improved (for example improved Radar).
F1E (E for Export)
F1EQ5:
The version of the F1 that has been exported to the Iraq. It is able to designate laser guided targets and is able to drop the bgl-1000 (GBU-10 from the French).
F1EQ6:
Upgraded from the F1EQ5 – able to carry two Exocets.
[Fictional] F1M:
What if the F1 had been upgraded to be carrier capable? The version features an improved engine and a hook and is based on the EQ6 (the ultimate version in real life).
As of now there are 2 [fictional] Squadrons for Spain and 3 [fictional] Squadrons for France. The problem is that I`m not able to implement Liveries so I´m stuck with the ones from the game. I am trying to change these up to feature more nations that would be able to use the F1M.
Known Issue: If you try higher game speed than 5x with the F1M around a Carrier (starting or landing patterns) it will wiggle around. Just a visual bug, will try to fix it anyways.
These versions are implemented as of now, more are to come….
The new weapons unfortunaly don´t have custom models:
AS30L is played by the AS-10,
The BGL-1000 is played by the GBU-10,
LDP1 EQ Patrick played by the Pave Spike,
SNEB23 (18x) Pod played by B8M-1 Pod,
Disclaimer: At the moment I don’t have the time to "finish" the mod (there are still many missing variants). I’ll do these as I get to it. But you may request a variant you’d like to see as I’m viewing this page. I will prioritize the requested variants.
I haven´t found sufficent information on all of the available loadouts, if you have knowledge about these I´d love the input.
