DD2 Vestal Skills
Gives Vestal 5 new skills inspired by her new skills in Darkest Dungeon 2:
Consecration of Fortitude: Buffs target PROT and DODGE.
Consecration of Light: Buffs target ACC, DMG, and CRIT.
Ministrations: Cures Blight, Bleed and Stun. Buffs Blight, Bleed and Stun resistance.
Sanctuary: Guards and stress-heals target, and buffs self PROT.
Mantra: Heals all heroes with a Consecration on them.
Also tweaks some of Vestal’s pre-existing skills (again, based on their appearance in DD2):
Mace Bash: Ignores PROT.
Hand of Light: Buffs self PROT. Has a chance to also buff another heroes’ DMG.
Judgement: Fire attack. Increases target damage taken from fire attacks.
Divine Comfort: Provides Regeneration instead of direct healing.
A few remarks:
Compared to vanilla DD1 Vestal, this version is a bit better at tanking (thanks to guard and prot buffs) and at dealing damage (thanks to fire-attack and ignoring prot).
As normal, she has skillsets for both the frontline (Mace Bash and Hand of Light) and the backline (Judgement and Divine Grace), though rank 3 might be best, where she can use both Judgement and Hand of Light, because backline damage is always useful.
My favorite change is the prot piercing on Mace Bash and guard on Sanctuary. Vestal’s two main playstyles (outside of the unreliable "bonk Vestal") are stun-bot and heal-bot, neither of which is particularly exciting, and this gives her a frontline bruiser playstyle as an alternative to that.
