Universal Wardrobe (0.2.1)

After some months of work, I can finally bring to you 0.2.1, the Galactic Fashion Update:
- 35 new sets divided among villager npcs, enemy npcs, dungeons and the Customization Desk.
- 78 new hats, most of them worn by villager NPCs.
- 7 new back items and 2 new variants for the explorer chest item.
- 5 new dyes.
- 111 new Costume boxes, most of them are for vanilla sets you’ll be able to find on planets.
- 8 new npcs, 7 visitors for the outpost and a new merchant which sells costume boxes and other clothing items (findable only on planets).
- 3 new encounters for the Anomaly pool, these ones have each an exclusive set.
That narrows it down hopefully, now go on and get yourself a new hat!

Don’t you feel that sometimes the appearance of npcs gets a bit, uhm, stale? repetitive? Wouldn’t you like to see the vanilla “wardrobe” to be a bit more variated and less generic? Well, say no more! Universal Wardrobe was created with the intent of giving a lot of variety to the npcs of the game (and by extension other mods) by adding not only fully and original new outfits, but also a lot of variants for outfits of this mod and vanilla Starbound.

- New crafting table: Customization Desk. This table will give you access to a lot of variants and new stuff, such as unique costume sets and dyes.
- 31 new Back items.
- 245 new Head items, along with 127 new variants (vanilla and modded).
- 64 new Chest items, along with 90 new variants (vanilla and modded).
- 76 new Leg items, along with 12 new variants (vanilla and modded).
- 166 brand new Costume Boxes.
- 5 new codexes.
- 53 new dyes.

Hey! here is a list with all the mods compatible with Universal Wardrobe.
Also, yes, this is compatible with Frackin Universe
Here are a couple of mods recommended to play alongside Universal Wardrobe:
– Miniknog Rearmed
– Historical Armor and its distribution patch
– Infinite Storage
– OpenStarbound (Which is not a mod, yet its new cosmetic slots allow for even more variated and unique outfits!)

– Armok : A big thanks to him for helping me refine the writing of the codexes and item descriptions, while also making helpful suggestions for the mod.
– Tea-Loving Lad : A big shoutout to him for helping me with a lot of colorful and frankly amazing clothing additions to the mod.
– Pixelflame : Shoutout to her too for contributing with the Scientist Skirt item.
– ShyDispatch : Credits to her for making the hylotl glasses assets and allowing me to use them.

One out of three! I’ve decided 0.2 will span three different updates, with Galactic Fashion being the first one out of three. Despite not being that much content, it still took me some good six months to finish it; I can’t say how much I will last with the next two, optimistically, I think we are going to have at least another update for the mod before the end of the year. 0.3 is also on the horizon and I have already some ideas for it, but for now, they are just that, ideas.
- 0.2.2 – Floran focused update; from flower-themed masks and season-themed outfits to some unique floran hostile sets.
- 0.2.3 – Space focused update; there are a couple of unique, actual functional armors planned along with some unique encounters for Space Anomalies.
As for other mods, you can check Remnants of the Protectorate, already out! This is some of the upcoming stuff too.
- Last update for Gyrojets! (besides hotfixes and stuff ofc).
- New update for the Risk of Rain mod. New visuals and objects mostly.
- Project Parasprite mod. New stuff, new objects, new monsters, new dungeons and a lot of unique lore for this little part of the game.
On my way I go!
