There are new SLUFs in town!

This mod adds new liveries, and loadouts for the A-7, with the USAF A-7D, Hellenic Air Force A-7H, Portuguese Air Force A-7P, Royal Thai Navy A-7E and the ultimate version of the A-7, the YA-7F Strikefighter.

** USAF liveries **
  • 3rd Tactical Fighter Squadron (Thailand, circa 1972) – Default
  • 357th Tactical Fighter Squadron (late 1970s)
  • 354th Tactical Fighter Wing (Thailand, circa 1972)
  • 74th Tactical Fighter Squadron (early 1980s)
  • 166th Tactical Fighter Squadron, Ohio Air National Guard (1980s) – Default
  • 180th Tactical Fighter Group, Ohio Air National Guard (1980s)
  • 162nd Tactical Fighter Group, Arizona Air National Guard (1980s)
  • 146th Tactical Fighter Squadron, Pennsylvania Air National Guard (1980s)

** Hellenic Air Force liveries **
  • 347th Bomber Squadron ‘Perseus’ – Default
  • 335th Bomber Squadron ‘Tigers’

** Portuguese Air Force livery **
  • 304 Squadron ‘Magníficos’ (Esquadra 304) – Default

** Royal Thai Navy livery **
  • 104 Squadron ‘White Sharks’ – Default

** New Aircraft: YA-7F Strikefighter **

The Vought YA-7F "Strikefighter" was a prototype attack and interdiction aircraft based on the A-7 Corsair II and powered by an F100-PW-220 engine. While the A-7s were subsonic the YA-7F could reach at top speed of Mach 1.2 thanks to its afterburner and had a service ceiling of 55,000 ft. Two prototypes were converted from A-7Ds. However the YA-7F was not ordered into production, its intended role being filled by the F-16Cs, F-15Es and A-10s instead.
The mod adds two liveries for the YA-7F prototypes with markings of the 445th Flight Test Squadron based at Edwards AFB. In addition there is a ‘what if the A-7F had been produced?’ livery with markings of the 391st FS ‘Bold Tigers’ (historically equiped with F-15Es) based at Mountain Home AFB.
The YA-7F and A-7F come with two new loadouts including laser targeting pods and Paveway II laser-guided bombs.

** New Weapon **

AGM-88A HARM air-to-surface anti-radiation missile with custom texture and Encyclopedia entry with profile picture.

** New Pod **

AN/AAQ-14 laser targeting pod and FLIR (uses the Pave Spike mesh).

** New Loadouts **
  • USAF versions (E/J) of the AIM-9.
  • Heavy Strike: with Mk-84 2,000-pound (900 kg) general purpose bombs
  • Anti Tank: with AGM-65 Maverick air-to-surface guided missiles
  • Long Range SEAD: with AGM-88A HARM anti-radiation missiles (ANG units only. Note: HARMs were first introduced in the USAF in 1985)
  • Strike Precision: AN/AAQ-14 pods and 4 x GBU-10 Paveway II laser-guided bombs (YA-7F/A-7F only)
